It is BAD to spray during shifts with the automatic. This would put alot of stress on the transmission.. I have a window switch set at 3000rpm-6000rpm, is this wrong?

Keith- when you sprayed with your car, did you use a window switch? If so, what pills did you use? If not, did you spray through the shifts?

What are the shift points in the automatics? or are they different for every car?

Shiftpoints for an A4 are different for every car. Our cars shift at a certain speed and not RPM based. :(

I sprayed through the shifts with no window switch. I do NOT recomend that. I cam SOOO close to hitting the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift.

When I DID have the window switch, I used 3600-5900 pills.

I think its more stress to let off the spray before the shift and then to hit the spray again after the shift. The torque created from nitrous is instant. I believe much of the stress caused from using it occurs when you first flip that switch.

I would spray through the shifts. If you have a TransGo shift kit it would help a lot.

I spray throughout the whole entire rpm range in all the gears and upshifts

Yep, I hold my button all the way through.

Heres a question (to revive an old thread).

With a fuel pressure safety switch, if you banged the rev limiter while spraying wouldn't the juice cut off anyway?

First the car would cut the fuel off, nitrous would still be spraying, then the fpss would come into play, it would cut the nitrous. It would cut the fuel but nitrous would still spray for a bit.
I'm talking about milliseconds???

What is the best method of spraying with a manual?? I've been thinking about it and it doesn't seem like it would be very easy. The rev limiter hits at 6000 right?? would it be best to have a wot switch with a window switch. Just incase you get to excited and mis-shift and bounce off the rev limiter you won't smash a piston. Has anybody nailed the rev limiter while spraying, I am so going to get juice now I can't friggin wait! :D
