Hey guys I got Tiago's Kit on my car im running 7 pounds of boost ... I have a exhaust temp gauge and when im boosting im hitting like 1300 Degrees is that to hot??? like is there anything I can do to make it run cooler??? please get back to me Thanks

the guy whos car was the vary FIRST kit the one that all the copies was mad of, his is still going strong .... accualt the turbo just claimed a piston after 70K miles

he's still on his first turbo.....

i would be more worried about the WB AFR the the temp, if you AFR is fine your temps will be where they need to be.....

dislale cars worry about the EGT temp more then most gas motors, but they are a hole different world

is the sensor before or after the motor.....

I don't know much about how that affects things in our cars.... however i will ask around and give you better answer....

for now run it rich and be happy :D

what turbo do you have? T-70 or the T3/T4 ???

The problem with EGT is that higher temps can come from either running lean or running with more ignition retard. Both can raise temps. AFR is the more accurate gauge to determine if ur running lean. When running boosted cars, I feel that Boost, AFR, and fuel pressure are the best gauges to determine if the car is running like it should, but that's only my opinion.
