since its summer i'm about to "revamp" my interior. gonna take it all apart and clean everything, get it all nice and neat, and then put felt on all the edges and screws to keep the pieces from rattling. since i'm taking all this stuff apart and cleaning and everything, i was wondering if i should paint any of the interior pieces. here is the car outside and inside as is now (with the exception of wheels and billet grille) and the interior as well:

so...paint the some of the interior or not? if so, silver or white? and one more thing...should paint my "berger" (?) panel? if so, black or pewter?

thanks for any help in advance!

if youre going to keep the blackouts, dont paint the panel. the interior will look ok in either color you mentioned.

well had some free time so i did a very quick photoshop of some colors on the places that i am thinking about painting. check them out and tell which one i should stick with or if i should just leave it stock like the last pic. (don't forget to check out the pics of my exterior up top cause i want everything to flow together.)

white (http://img36.echo.cx/img36/2667/whiteint14pj.jpg)
pewter (http://img36.echo.cx/img36/2422/pewterint10dl.jpg)
charcoal (http://img36.echo.cx/img36/5191/charcoalint15kr.jpg)
stock (http://img36.echo.cx/img36/5193/stockint18th.jpg)

What about the speaker covers? Those are really easy, and make it look really good too. I'd say white though.

i'd probably do the speaker covers too actually. i was just in a hurry to photoshop those so i didn't bother with them. so i've got a white and a stock vote so far...

The car looks good man very sharp. I would say leave the interior alot of the time it just looks cheap and a little ricey when people paint the interior unless you really know what your doing. Someone around here recently posted pics of their interior after they painted it silver that looked really nice.

I would say you need to do the exhaust, 2 chrome pipes coming out the back will be a great appearance mod plus performance and it will sound pretty.

about the tips...i was gonna ask about that when i posted my new pics. i can't decide how to handle tips. i know i should get some polished or chrome ones to balance out the rest of the car but what kind should i get?

I painted my interior and couldnt be happier. I drive a bird so we have diff interior but if you keep it simple and dont go overboard you can get a great looking custom interior. Pics of mine are in my sig on my car domain site with some updated pics with the vents painted coming probably tomorrow or later today. Ill do a post when my car gets out of the shop today or tomorrow with all my pics of interior and hood.

I think that if you are going to paint the interior, the white would go with your car best....by the way, I like the seats.

It seems like the majority of people on here are conservative with interior paint schemes, so do want you want to do. I am one that has had no formal training and did not use a spray gun. Just patience and time ... in the sig .. Turned some heads today at the show!!

Paint the interior both colors!
