what is this popping sound?

when ever I first start my car and start to drive, i can here this popping sound from the exhuast. is this just because the car is not warmed up enough, because once its been running for a while that sound seems to go away. any info will help, thnks

Mine pops a lot when its cold but is still pretty noticeable when I autocross and the engine is warmed up plenty. I wouldnt sweat it if its just normal exhaust poping under deceleration.
