Does CATCO make a Converter that has a 2.5" in and a 3" out? And where could I get one, I took a look through Summit's stock and they don't seem to have one?

I would like to know cause I don't have the money to make my whole system 3" from the headers on out. So I'd like to get a cat that will still connect to the old I-pipe yet still be able to connect up to an American Thunder 3" cat-back system. Then when I have some real cash money I will change the headers and I-pipe.

I'm assuming you meant 3" in, 2.5" out.

Just get the 3" cat and a 3-to-2.5 reducer... you could always remove the reducer later instead of buying another cat.

I was thinking about doing the same thing but no headers. IF I was going to go with a 3" exhaust system all the way down, all I would need is the cat and american thunder catback system right? Does it come with an I pipe?

Yep. It hooks up to the back of your cat.

I think your exhaust shop ought to have reducers... unless youre doing it yourself. In that case, I'd bet that jcwhitney would have them.

So, The reducer connects the I-pipe (which is 2.5" in measurement) to the cat (which is 3" in measurement)?

All it is, is a piece of metal tubing that has two different sized holes on either end?

Yup... and it's more like a cone. ;)
