I don't think I would have the time to put into it to help you start one, but if you get it started I would be interested in joining up. Let me know how it goes. I am in Pensacola.

I am on racingpensacola.com and it is mostly import oriented. Their are not may domestic people on the site. The Gulf Coast Muscle.org is O.K. but there are not many visitors their and V6 aren't really considered "Muscle" around here.

Apparently, there aren't any Gulf Coast F-Body organizations that I know of. Would anyone be interested in starting an organization with me? There are tons of F-Bods around here. V6 and V8 a like welcomed.www.gsfcc.com Thats the Gulfsouth Firebird Camaro Club. Im pretty sure that they are based out of New Orleans, so Im not sure if they are active again after Katrina...I sent a email a couple of months ago inquiring about joining....but havent heard anything back yet.

Anyone in or near the Hattiesburg, MS area interested in getting together to show off our Camaros and Firebirds? It would be cool to hang out, bbq, swap ideas, parts and stories.

I would be very interested in getting together. I live in Picayune which is about 40 minutes south of Hattiesburg and I'm always going up there on the weekends to watch the football games at Buffalo wild wings..... I've tried a few times to start a f-body club around here, but most all the people I talk to aren't really enthusiast(well, the ones with 4gen's) , they are regular arseholes that only bought it because it was the best deal they could find when purchasing a new vehicle. Oh well, at least they are supporting GM :)

I grew up in Picayune....lived there until Sept 96, then moved up here...I get down there maybe once or twice a year, I cant believe how big the place has gotten in 10 years. I too have thought about trying to get a Camaro/Firebird club started. Right now, Im doing the research on it and trying to get ideas for it. Email me anytime ya want if you want to shoot the breeze.

That sounds great. I don't know if you have any friends that you ride with or what not, but all of my friends that have custom rides or are just car enthusiasts meet up in Picayune on the last Saturday of every month, because there is a car show in the huge parking lot next to Burger King. All the old classic cars come and throw out trophies to one another for different things and we go and look at all the cars and talk with them about mods and what not, then after they leave we just hang out and look over each others rides and talk about repair/improvements that could be made.
Well, I will email you about starting up a club and see what all you have so far.

Ahh, Mendenhall, I've passed through there a few times. Well, I'm about an hour south of you in Picayune and Larry(he's around here somewhere) lives right in Hatteisburg. So, maybe you will have to come down to the car show sometime and meet up with us.

Hey Storm...youre not too far up the road from me, Im in Hattiesburg. So youre doing a turbo 3.4? Sounds like a cool project. Just out of curiosity, are you using used factory turbos from something else or did you go with an aftermarket set up? Post some pics so we can all see it. If youre ever in H'burg and see my car, flag me down, we'll shoot the breeze----Larry http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2489000-2489999/2489691_3.jpg, http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/5/web/2489000-2489999/2489691_5.jpg
