It's official, I am becoming a ma-hole. I will be starting my new job in Westford in the next two weeks.

I am starting to look for a house. Anyone have any experience with the ayer/littleton/acton area? Good areas, bad areas, school systems?

I heard the ayer schools were not so good, but Littleton and Westford were good. Any input?

I used to take Iaido classes in Acton.. and was always under the impression that nobody actually lived there...

Well, I don't want to live inside of Boston. Since I will be working outside of Boston, I don't see the point in paying more for a house and reverse commuting. I do love Boston to hang out in - much better than NYC, IMHO.

Well at least the boonies have back roads (that are intresting). I lived 17 miles from Boston and it was chock-a-block restidential/commerical, not a single road devoid of housing or traffic lights/signs. I like having some nice wiggly back roads to blast down when the weather's nice.
