            Re: Ram Air

you can make it functional, but i don't think that it'll net much benefit. IIRC, your car has a snorkel intake, which is no where near the ports on the hood

yes, but i have the 98-02 upper radiator support, so i can use any 1998 mod, putting the hood ports right above it.

I would think that your next obstacle would be clearance and getting the hood to close completely

ok but would i use a regular whisper lid, or a firehawk ram air induction package?

the hood is cutout right above where the 98+ airbox is right? if so ud be using the ram air intake setup if u have the hood sucking air into the engine bay and a whisper lid would be blockign it ... the ram air box is open

                      Re: Ram Air

You can modify any WS6 airbox for the LT1 to fit your car. That's what I did. The hood gives you the extra clearance to put the airbox over the radiator. I doubt if you could use the 98+ style airbox however because it draws from the bottom up, and the vents on the 93-97 WS6 hood come out on the top of the airbox.

Did you make that. It Looks sweet. How did you do it becuase I have a 99 bird and I would be all over doing that intake.
