  • Drum-to-Disc brake swap kit

I'm selling this cuz I never had the time to put it on my car and now need money for xmas gifts. Kit comes with:

    rotors
    calipers
    brake lines
    pads
    mounting hardware

As far as I know it has everything needed to install on our rearends, except backing plates, but I dont think those are hard to find nor are they that expensive.

    $140 shipped (its heavy)

Oh BTW, thanks to Loochy88: http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread.php?t=63738

Is that what they are brand new?? I'll do $120 shipped then.

BTW, TA Creations is the WORST company to do business with. Absolutely horrible customer service!!

There is no backing plate. Are you refering to the axle tube bracket, to which the caliper bracket bolts? If so they are specific to the right and left, and are $65 each from a dealer.

I dunno, Loochy's write up says you need backing plates, thats why I said that.

OK, I looked at the write-up. We are refering to the same part. GM name is "caliper mounting plate". Heavy metal plate that is the bracket for the caliper and bolts to the axle tube end. $65 each from a dealer.

Cool, I'll see if I can get a junkyard to pick them up off a wrecked Z or T/A and include them in the kit.

Thanks FirebirdGT, I appreciate your help!! :D

                        Re: Drum-to-Disc brake swap kit

Very slightly used. I never had it on my car and the person I got the kit from told be they didnt put very many miles on it at all.

The rotors are not a name brand.

I'm cool with that :D Do you have Paypal? If so, shodown6969@yahoo.com is my address. If not, let me know and I'll email you my mailing address for a money order. As soon as I get both payments, I'll ship the kit right away. :)
