  • Part # for 2nd Exhaust Sensor Post CAT

    Hi guys,

Iv searched Google and the forum but haven't come up with anything.
This is the 2nd sensor after the catalytic converter - Pre-CAT and 1st sensor post CAT have already been changed to Bosch units but I cant seem to get a hold of what this is and what the correct part number for this would be.

My CAT MIL has lit up thanks to this unit breaking and falling off -

Iv attached pics of the connector pin type and the little piece of whats supposed to be there with this.

Would appreciate any help I get.

    Thanks.

PS : Apologies if this is in the wrong section.

96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

@Ssms5411 - Rockauto Turned up blank - all 4 PIN O2 Sensors whereas this one is just 2 (from the image)

Jesus does anyone know what this is ?

Can not get your images to load.

          What year?

There are only two, a Pre- and a Post-CAT sensor

          98-02 Both sensors are p/n 25312207

          96-97 Both are p/n 25312196

          95 Both are p/n 25312188

Do not understand how you have THREE?

That doesn't look like an O2.

@FirebirdGT & @Bigbrian442 - Thanks guys - Yes it doesnt appear to be an O2 Sensor.
The number Firebird gave for my 97 Camaro makes it seem like there was a 2nd Sensor after the CAT to measure the Temperature (Post CAT Exhaust TEMP) And set off the alarm :/ .. It was only present in export models (mine happens to be a Japan Export)

Only problem is I cant find the Part Number and nalleygmc wants 330$ for it ! :(

I really hate the CAT MIL on the Dash :(

So...you have read the codes and the ones which are set are cat efficiency codes?

Or is the code specific to the cat overtemp sensor on export cars?
