That's what I'm trying to figure. It seems every thread he's talking about how bad things are and how much worse they've gotten. WTF man? I guess our ideas of bad and worse aren't the same. Congrats anyway.

Wes did get a job to cover his bills.
From what I understand he is still in the apprenticeship as well.

He is bringing the bird to Chi with him from Indy to begin the teardown and build up.

I have a vested interest in the bird, and he WILL have no problem acquiring this stroker kit for the build!

so it will be hard for you to promote it then if you are working all the time then too. ;)

congrats on winning though, you going turbo?

                          Re: 3800 Stroker Sponsor Effort

Im not going anything right now. I posted a final response over at FTV6.com about it all, and I do mean final, I want nothing to do with that site.

There are reasons why I cannot take this sponsorship, one being that they are looking for a project to be running by no later than three months, and its a timeframe I simply can't accommodate at this time. I need 8 months to get the car ready for running. Secondly, being as a sponsorship for a new product, one that has been sought for a long time, I would have to represent such project over at FTV6.com, and because of the kids that run around over there, I do not want me or my project on that board. Its nothing more than a joke to me, because they offer little if anything over there. The REAL V6 fbody source is HERE, at www.camarov6.com/www.firebirdv6.com. I will stay true to that and this site, and leave the posers at the other site.

Too bad the thing didn't work out, who is 2nd in line?

out of curiosity, what are your plans for the car? I really want to know what $50,000 will buy for the 3800

My plans were VERY similar to what Tim at Intense has done to that Firebird over there. From what I understand, he is about $40k into it now, and it hasn't ran to its full potential yet.

                                wow

Go big or go home i guess...I'm saving up $5,000 to do my build (which means it will be at least $7000 lol)

But half my income is going to pay something off....well you know how it feels to have financial burdens
