1997 Firebird Production #'s

Does anyone know the production numbers for the 97 Firebirds? Particularly for the Y97 Package? I have a y87 and Im just wondering how many were made that year.. Thanks!

I emailed Pontiac Customer service.. and they emailed back that 4,719 y87 Birds were produced in 97. Just thought I'd post in case anyone was interested in the number.

That interests me. What email address did you use? I have been trying to find out how many firebird/trans ams were made in my color in 97.

this is kind of off topic but do you guys know how i can find out how many 1995 3.8L camaro's were built? who should i email or does anybody know?

Then i clicked on Pontiac under GM Automotive Brands. Then the email tab at the top. I'm sure ya'll can figure out the rest ;) You have to provide your VIN # when you fill out the email form... But they were extremely helpful and quick, i heard back within 24 hours. :)
