  • What 5spd's will fit?

I've searched around a bit and can't find any definite answers. What other vehicles can I search for to find a replacement 5spd to fit into my 1996 3.8? I already know the 95-02 F-body 3.8's have the same transmission (obviously) but what other vehicles out there will work, even if I have to use my current bellhousing?

Whats the reasoning on that? Is it because of the because of the input shaft, or is it for some other reason?

Ask GM. You might as well ask what trans from other cars will fit in a Corvette.

none, i looked pretty hard, there are aftermarket ones but that pretty pricey. So I went with a stock replacement for $300 I got at a local junkyard form a 97 with 10k miles on it.

whats the issues with putting in the t-5 in from mustangs? same issues as putting in a t56?
